I created a korg volca beats reel for the the make noise morphagene with reaper including markers which should turn out as splice points. There are a few examples of each sound where useful, e. G. One short bass drum, one medium, one long.

A cataclystic, "buildup" sound effect resulted from extreme manipulation from two digital audio workstations - fl11 and reaper. The base sample was a public domain sound of a roland d50-esque sounding element which was heavily edited using volume-scaled automation, reverberation, pitch-shifting, transpositioning and trimming audio.

My nightstand's lamp is an antique, it works electrically but also has a hole to use oil with it. This is the sound of me turning it off and on then unscrewing the cap on the hole. Could be used as interesting found-sound percussion, very similar to my oil drum sounds.

Here's a vocal sample of "hydrochloric acid" ran through audioterm and sent to a waldorf blofeld as a wavetable. The blofeld pitches up and then scans the wavetable (via mod wheel, so it's fun), which plays out what you hear here, plus a fair bit of outboard verb. Sounds like a vocoder but it's not. As opposed to traditional samplers the pitch is independent of the playback rate / length of the sample.

After searching the vastness of the interweb for some 6 inch zilbel samples with no luck, i finally decided to record my own bell. Theres 3 versions of 4 single samples each, 4 chokes, 4 medium and 4 hard hits. I know a lot of you out there have been searching for some samples of one of these bells for a long time so here ya go guys, totally free, full to use for whatever you want, no credit needed to be given to me. Group kmm-this was recorded while leaving the studio. There is some wind noise at the beginning and the end. There is also the sound of the door closing that was recorded at the end of the sample. Recorded with a zoom h4 handheld recorder, high gain.

Here was my attempt to simulate the kicks used by hip hop producer don cannon. Fully synthesized, no samples here. But, as stated in the title, i did gate the sound in order to get more attack.
